I do, was gonna debaffle but a few years back they started cracking down on modified pipes around here. Even going so far as sticking a rod up the exhaust to see if the baffles were intact. Still lots of loud pipes around so maybe the crack down got derailed.

I just threw a set of debaffled pipes away a couple of weeks ago. They had been sitting in my garage for several years. I don't think they were complete, though. I think I gave someone a heat shield and the goat belly a few years ago.

My stock set still have the baffels, but they been off the bike since week one

IMO it's mistake to pull the stock baffles, and the sound sucks.

I do I've heard it doesn't really make a difference on sound and you loose a bit of back pressure. ..I wouldn't have this problem if the original owner hadn't taken the V&H off and put the stock exhaust back on...😠

It does make a difference in the sound.
It is a little deeper, if your lookin for loud then no, you would not be happy.

I've still got the stock baffles in my bike. Previous owner did some kind of mod that allows 87 octane to be used. I wasn't sure if debaffling the pipes might somehow cause an issue there.

Speaking of Americade, it wouldn't surprise me to hear that there were police checkpoints some place. However, I have done there like ten years and no one has ever stopped us and checked exhausts or tire pressure.

Why would police check tire pressure? ?
