Passenger seat Vulcan Nomad

Does anyone have any ideas for the passenger seat. I can ride for hours, however my wife seems to get sore after about 1 1/2 hours. Are there any seats available without changing the drivers seats.

Or you can get some beads to put on it. We have beads that we use on the seats that work well.

Is your wife shorter like 5.1 or 5.3. Because if she is that colud be part of the reason. That was the problem my girl freind was having so I made some brackets and raised and tilted back the floorboards for her and she is much more comfy. ps it is also a mustang seat she sits on tried gel seat airhawk and she didnt like any of them.

Yeah she is short, 5' 1/2" and i think it is to do with the position of her legs. Do you know where i could get some brackets

How about experimenting with some blocks of wood to get an idea if that is the problem before spending a load of cash. My wife is 5' 4", hated the stock seat, liked the Mustang and Loves the Day Long. And all that cost me about 1500 dollars to after selling the Mustang.

flexible check gadgets site there is a guy there that sells the brackets and I understand they are top notch quality.

I had the stock passenger pillion and my seat modified at meancitycycles.com
My wife could go 50 miles and had to get off before the mod. Now she can go 150 - 180 before needing to dismount.

Last year I rode to Killeen, TX from Boaz, AL a distance of almost 900 miles. I was riding my Honda VTX1300R and has a similiar seat to our Nomad. I got caught in a drenching rain east of Jackson, MS and spent the night at Brandon, MS. Got up early the next day and headed west again. My butt hurt so bad by the time I got to my daughters house. I could only stand to ride about 15 minutes and had to stop and get off for five minutes or so. I think a trip like that riding riding 10 plus hours a day, it wouldn't matter if I was sitting on a cloud my butt would still hurt.
