I am always reading about "going to the darkside". What the heck is the darkside. I have figured out that it has something to do with tires, but what? ???

If you ask me this is the way to go.. I find no bad, but i did it for cheaper dollars, and a longer lasting tire.
Since doing it I like the handeling far better. Braking is better sick and twisted back country roads ride better. Painted lines are a no issue deal, cheese grater bridges are better,not great but better, so is the interstate highway grind which I once hated with predjucided. You do add a bit more in put counter steering, but the bike settles right down into a curve and you just hold it there. When you let up the bike comes up straight. Well maybe there is one bad thing, and that is I lost apx 2 MPG's, but that was expected since i was trading off for more traction.

I was really taking a chance with that brick, but what is done is done. I have no idea how some guys get 17,000 out of those junk bricks. For so long as I ride a cruiser like a Nomad it will have a CT on the back.
