On the road again!

Yah! Winter finely over ( hope I don't jinx myself ) went on a nice long ride today to really open her up and get a good read on my new Cobra slash cuts. Very nice sound, not loud when cruising but do have to be wary of surroundings when you throttle up on her. Now I can hear those twin jugs pumping. As per BD's advice, I have to plug off the air inlet line to the vacuum switch either with a marble or a plastic plug to get rid of the back fire noise. Even got an email from a friend who has set up our first tour ride this summer through Cranbrook, British Columbia and into the Rockies. Just a two dayer over the weekend, but should be sweet. Love the new seat mod I had done over the winter, nice and comfy now, but a good 3 hour stint in the seat will really be the test. I need a luggage rack now, and I see the Cobra model is very popular, what ever model I decide do they all run around $100.00 ?
Anyways, just yaking I know, but really glad to be back on the road again.

On the road again!

I went for a 4 hour ride yesterday, my first ride (other than across town) of the season. I was wore out. That surprised me.

Last year almost every day pleasure ride I did was 300 miles or more. Surprised me that having a lay over turned me into a wimp.

BTW, my riding season ended at the end of Aug because I broke my collar bone, so it's been a long lay off. I did enjoy the ride immensely though.
