Windy ride to see BnG

It was a very windy day for a ride today but managed to put 250miles on the bike and got to stop and visit a friend (BnG) along the way at his home. Have not seen him since the NC rally and got to meet his lovely wife Donna and son Adam. We had a nice long visit.

Good for you guys. Dave and his wife are good people. I bet it was a windy ride, I did not even get mine out of the garage yesterday. Did Dave have his sidecar back yet?

ok now the question is did you get a hotdog while you were there ?

Tim, Dave does not have his bike back yet.They told him that they dont know when it will be done.At this rate he said he would happy if he got by 4th of July!
He was telling me how nice my bike looked and for a second I was going to give him the keys but he was sitting around the house with an ice pack. He hurt himself a couple days ago lifting up on a hitch on one of his trailers. It has been getting worse so he is going to the doctors on Monday.
Ray, no hot dogs but how about a cup of hot chocolate?? Like I said Dave was inside hurt so Donna came out to greet us and when she felt our hands she said we had to go inside and have some hot chocolate!! By that time we had put on about 170 miles of riding in that wind with a third stops for fuel just before we got to their house because it was sucking it down that fast!
When we were outside getting ready to leave is when Dave had come outside and was making the comments about the bike. After the goodbyes and I fired the bike up he made another comment about how good it sounded. I really wished then that he wasn’t hurt so that he could have taken it for a ride! We put on another 90miles or so to get home but didn’t need to stop for fuel this time.

Dave and Donna are great, hope Dave heals fast and gets his bike back in time for the National Rally. Saturday was very windy here also, put on about 200 miles in 45 degree temps with 40 mph NW winds.
