Has anyone installed a fairing from Memphis Shades? If so I need a pic of it installed so I can see if it will interfear with the driving lights bracket. Thanks, Hammer

The lights I have bolt to the sides of the front forks on top of the brackets for the factory windshield. Where does the brackets for the fairing mount to?

the brackets for the windshield and the lowers must be removed from the fork to mount the fairing brackets to the fork. With longer bolts you remount the lowers brackets outside the fairing brackets to remount your lights.

Sounds like it will work on my bike, one more question, how tall is your wind shield and do you look over it or through it? Thanks for the info.----- Hammer

As far as I remember All Lights work with the Memphis Shades or Reckless Fairings.. On the 1600 I think the Cobra lights had to be shimmed out with a washer...
MS makes a great product, easy on easy off! I have 2 windshields from them for my 1100 Honda.....
I went the Reckless fairing route as I wanted a inner fairing as well as the outer.......
Pics of your bike after the fairing is painted is a MUST :)

On my Reckless fairing I have the 8" windshield.. I look over it! I am 6ft3.. Not sure the MS Fairing sits the same as the Reckless
BUT also look into the Reckless fairing , we have several Pics on the Reckless threads, Several pics of the MS as well..My reason for the Reckless Fairing is it has a inner fairing to mount gauges /radio and its filled in with the inner...... Both are well made,Both give great protection

Thanks for the input, I am leaning toward the MS. I like the way it is quick release and I don't want a stereo. I need to find out how much the painting is going to cost. Color rite is very expensive.

Go to your local Auto Collision shop. They can shoot the fairing,, They have Paint scanner cameras.. They will shoot you bike and match the paint ,,Color Rite is good panit but IMO Over priced.Alot of shops use PPG paint,, Very good paint as well, My 2 tone inner and outer with side covers was 400$
The MS should be a easy shoot and I would guess 150/225$

I have the MS shield on my 1100 Honda and love it.. The easy on/off is great....MS makes GREAT stuff.Painted pics a Must :)

I have the Memphis Shades 12" windshield in solar tint and and look over the windshield.I am 6' tall and wanted the most coverage from the windshield .I also have the lower deflectors in black mounted to the fairing.I paid $300.00 to have the fairing painted front and back. The painter used colorite. He couldnt get a good match with his paint supplier

I was looking at the fairings for my 06, and thought I checked to see that the MS had an inner fairing. I must have been mistaken. I guess it was MS. They recommended the MS trigger release anyway. I'll email the seller and see.

No inner on the MS only a outer.. The Reckless has a Inner and outer,PLUS we get a discount and the price is a tad less.
