Reckless Fairing

Here are a few pic of my reckless fairing. I like the way it handles now better than the plain windshield too

Very nice!! I have the reckless with the same colour combo as your bike. Here is mine completed.

Some free advice: put on the 3M rock chip guarding on your fairing ( I did as well as my front fender ) No more nasty rock chips!

looks good Kevin !! Can you see this 3M "stuff" you're talking about when it's on the bike? I worry about putting a film over the paint. Ripples, creases ,... you know!

Which speaker setup did you guys go with 4 or 2? Is the reckless fairing much heavier than the HD fairing? I am guessing it is with the extra speakers and fiberglass.

The fairing alone with packing was 12lbs or so.. by feel its about the same as our windshield w/hardware...Im assuming a radio/speakers is around 1lb or2
not sure on the HD fairing

Looks great!

I think the Nomad is a natural for a fairing. It's a nice enhancement and dresses up the motorcycle a bunch. I recall the difference in handling also. Hard for me to explain the difference but it has changed.

Do you worry about anyone trying to steal that radio? My bike stays parked 8 hrs/day in a downtown garage. Between that and staying overnight at hotels, I wonder if anyone will try to steal it.

On my radio the head comes off and I can lock it up. There is a noticeable bit of better handling at higher speeds I think, or in high winds coming at you.
