What are these?
Curious as to what these are. I don't have a shop manual yet for my 2011 Vaq, but I am wondering if these are used for anything or if they can be removed and used to mount something to. There is one on both sides of the handlebars.

Not sure exactly. There's one on the other side of the handlebars in exactly the same place. Just didn't want to start messing with it if I shouldn't be but was wondering if that can be removed to mount an accessory to.

its a cap (plate) that holds the two piece switch housings together ( becareful lil tiny shaft screws that will jump across your garage floor ( dont ask ) in a skinny minute SKULLSHAKER

Two thumbs your welcome I recently bought the 2014 burnt orange vaq and have already been tinkering blacking out different things ( bars, levers, and both sets of crash bars ) next is some sort of exhaust pipe
