i think that you need to correct me on this and say if i am wrong, so here goes, and i am not an expert on bulbs but just putting this out there as i see's it, the light bar I think Joe sells takes a bulb with a H3 fitting, and I think he said that if you want to install an LED bulb that you look at getting an H3 LED bulbs to replace what comes in his lightbar, but where this H1 bulb number came from I don't know, if you buy an H1 LED bulb I don't think it will fit. that is my take on this.

Yes, they change the ring.

why change the ring and try to fit a H1 led bulb that doesn't fit? just buy a H3 led bulb instead that fits in the proper ring already on the housing

The led headlight replacement for the H4 bulb comes with 3 or 4 rings.
I’ve bought 2 of them. I put one in mine and one in a friends.
Because of the way the H4 and H3 bulbs mount on the headlight with the wire clip you have to put the ring in first and then mount the bulb in the ring.

OP is asking about Chucksters driving light bulbs, NOT head light, totally different bulbs.
