considering a change of call sign

So obviously I wasn't being very creative when I created my account with the former KawaNOW. In fact, to me it wasn't important since I'd never made a post until after the Custer rally in 2009 when I got to meet many of you.

I think I need a new "call sign" on here. Something a little better than my initials and last name.

I don't think it would be entirely difficult to pull off, but Do you have any input?
Suggestions of name? All subject to availability of course. And if Trip says it can't be done, then I'll stick with my Lame-Oh Name-Oh.

I would think you like the roads to be twisty when you ride so I'm going to make only one suggestion. How about "twisted". It might cover a couple of things. The roads you prefer and .....your demeanor? Hey is there a prize if you pick that persons suggestion? Maybe the first nights beer at the 3rd National rally.??

Fortunately or unfortunately it'll be difficult for me to lose this handle I have. I have it at work too, where it originated. My friend Davy at work hung it on me first. He's a Scottish guy and it just seemed to naturally roll off his tongue years ago. He just greeted me with "rickyboy, my son". Being real Scottish originating from Glasgow or Edinburgh I think, it just seemed natural. They often tag "son" on the end of someones name or just say "how ya do'in son". I've found the British will do that too at times.
Anyway I just started using "rickyboy" in emails and things like that. I have friends with kids that know me best as "rickyboy". A lot here on the forum just refer to me as "ricky". My wife calls me "rickyboy" or "r.b." when she likes me ....

let's just all trade names, that's what we used to do in school when ever we had a substitute teacher.

I like that one!

My nickname has worn off over the years. I was known as Mo for most of my life... up until the last 4-5 yrs anyway. My parents and grandparents would even call me Mo. It got started in sports... we all called each other by our last name. So mine went from Moore to Mo as time went on and then it stuck. There's only a couple really close friends that call me that now. I always liked it.

I used a combo of that and then the country singer for my handle on here.
