Surprised at my FI2000 settings

So I took a bungee cord and set my RPM to ~ 1800. Set all the FI2000R pots to zero and started very slowly going up. The first pot told me that 2 was what it liked. Had been running default settings at 3-5-0, so I was surprised that 2 was very smooth with highest RPM. So I set the second pot at 5 and went for a ride. Very responsive and no knocking. At 80 I noticed some vibration, so I pulled off the the side of the road and set the 2nd pot down to 4 and surprisingly again the vibration smoothed out. So 2-4-0 I guess will be my new settings for my bike. I liked the way it responded to the throttle.
I have V&H duel bagger exhaust and a UNI foam air filter. Happy, Happy, Happy!

When I had my bike set up with V and H pipes, (2) K and N air filters I had 3 setting for my FI200:
4.5/5/0 takes off like a jet runs strong up to 100MPH gets 30MPG avg. and sounds like a V8, and very fast.
2/2.5/0 take off is OK runs smooth but takes a little longer to get to 100, 35MPG avg.
1.5/1.5/0 I would say runs better than stock set up running reg gas, gets 37/38 MPG avg. runs cooler then stock. I used this settings to keep me from getting tickets and acting like a fool.
So I would say keep playing with it and get it the way you want. When I set it up going by 0/0/0 then setting RPM to 950 turn pot one to 2 and it went up I would then turn it to 0 RPM set at 1800 turn pot one, best was 2.5. So 2 to 2.5 on pot one was the best setting for me, pot 2 depending on the setting of pot one can be best at 2.5 all the way to 5. I found the better it runs the lower the MPG, I think its because when shes running great I just like to have fun...LOL.

Thanks for the reply MJ, I am still tweaking it a little at a time. My goal is to run smoother and cooler. I hope I'm headed in the right direction.
