Any one who has wired a nomad for a trailer pigtail. Are there any wiring kits out there or do you have to wire in the pigtail to the bikes wiring harness.

I doubt there is any plug & play wiring harness available. However with a test light its a very simple procedure to do yourself. You have 4 wires going to your trailer plug,
1. Running light
2. LH turn
3. RH turn
4. Ground

I haven;t looked at the wiring diagam from Gadgit's site yet. You don't happen to remember the wiring colors do you? (Don't knock yourself out, I can examine the diagram and use a test light if I have to).

What? No brake lights?

(They're not on the turn signal wires like on old American cars. You can get a Hoppe, or you can simply add more lights to the trailer. To me, more lights is better and cheaper.)

Pretty much going to a 'American wired trailer, which shares the brake lamp with the turn sigs, you have no choice but to use the hoppy, which if you get the correct o9ne will insulate the charging system on the bike from the trailer, in the event of a dead short.

The right one uses bike current to 'induce' trailer current', AND sorts out the "euro' light problem. Hoppy model #46255 .
