Security Alert

How come I'm getting a security alert on some threads, it says that my computer has blocked some pop ups, and do I want to allow them?
???

I never get anything like that, you must have some malware or virus of some type.

If your internet security settings are set to "High" the system may be blocking the ads that are on the site.

When you cruise around the internet and read a lot of spam-emails... you are bound to get viruses and malware that will cause problems!

I've only in the last couple of days had this happen. And it only happens here on the VBA site. I don't remember which threads I was reading when the warning popped up. I'll watch for it, if it happens again.

Go ahead and pay for the Premium Membership and all ads and popups are eliminated... just saying... "don't be cheap"!

They don't for me... but maybe I have my computer setup to where that is blocked. I just assumed they were because of the membership...

I also thought I read where blocks were supposed to be a part of the membership...?

Did one of the Premium members tell you this?
I see you are not a Premium member so wondering how you know.

I run Firefox and when a popup is blocked it tells me.
It has never said a popup was blocked on this site.
