i have just got into contact with mark arians, and he will be coming as long as he can get the time off work. he now lives in northern vic about 45 mins from where i am so i may have some company for the trip down.

apparently there is a hill climb track out castlemaine way that is apparently a nice ride, i cant remmember the name of it but ive been told its worth the trip to ride it. although im sure a nomad isnt as agile as some of the bikes that go up there.

the only problem seems to be the lack of more photos finky.. it would have been a perfect day for a gor cruise. i was stuck doing work veihcles all day and didnt even get to look at the nomad today, (the only day this week i havent been on it).

It was a perfect day for a GOR cruise there were bikes comming out of the woodwork yesterday
For then Yanks that are reading this the GOR is a bit like the dragon it is a coastal road that never stops turning narrow but the scenery and the ride is out of this world.

Ok finally got of my arse and planned the route for the ride to Castlemain on the 18th January
Leave from the Shell Westgate out bound at 9am
Follow the M8 freeway to Mymiong turn of the freeway to
Greendale,Dales Creek,Blackwood(short break),Newbury.Trentham,Dalesford,Campbels creek,and Castlemain for lunch and I think M/Cow has a run up to a hill climb track after that.
So far we have on Nomads
EDS,Ron,Finky,MadCow,Mark,Grayham,AJ,John and Rick
Ali 1600 Classic (Da Wife no choice sorry)
Greg V2K
Peter 1500 Intruder (he is buying a new Voyager so I have let him come.)

do you know what time you will get to trentham finky? i was thinking that i would come down through the back of lake eppalock and through redesdale and kyneton to meet you in trentham. hopefully mark will be able to come as it will be a very lonely ride otherwise. it looks like i might have to bring a spare fuel tin as the early nomad had a very small tank, alsoi will try and find out where that track is as i know very little about it so far.

ok i have done a bit of research and found the hill climb track is at mt tarrengawer, which is at maldon. at a guess i would say its about 30 mins from castlemaine, if you guys are interested i will check it out a bit more. cheers, mc..
