*** KawaNOW Website Contest...

Now that the new KawaNOW website is up and running, I'd like to hold a phrase contest for the main flash portion of the website.

Here's the deal....

If you go to the main page of the website, you'll notice a flash box that splits into quadrants and shows 5 pictures... one for the 1500 Nomad, 1600 Nomad, 1700 Nomad, 1700 Vaquero and the 1700 Voyager.

Next to these pics is a phrase or saying in white lettering... for instance, the one for the Vaquero reads, "Ride FIRST Ask QUESTIONS Later".

In coding those flash pics, I had to just come up with some sayings for each one, so I'm not too happy with them. I'd like to hold a contest and let you guys submit to me what phrases you think would be good for each catagory. So, feel free to email me a phrase that you think would be a good fit.

I'd like for the 1500 owners to send me phrases for the 1500 pic, 1600 owners for the 1600 pic... and so on.

So... here are the contest instructions/rules:

1.) Only KawaNOW members with a KawaNOW number can enter.

2.) A KawaNOW member can submit as many phrases or sayings as they want.

3.) The contest will begin today, Monday, July 25, 2011 and will conclude in approximately two weeks on Saturday, August 6, 2011.

4.) Phases have to be 7 words or less. Try to make up a phrase that is authoritative and explains how you feel about your ride.

5.) Phrases cannot contain profanity (However, I will accept some slang...such as the word "butt").

6.) Send your phrases by email to me at robert@hilliard.ws . Please include your phrase, your full name and nickname (not your login name), your KawaNOW number and the catagory you are sending it for... 1500 Nomad, 1600 Nomad, 1700 Nomad, 1700 Vaquero or the 1700 Voyager.

7.) In the interest of making sure phrases are original and there is no copying, it's best not to post your ideas here on the forum.

Remember, you can enter as many phrases as you like. I will be the sole judge of all of the entries and will make the final decision.

Winning entries will have their name and KawaNOW number placed at the bottom of the phrase on the website in red.
