Eastern Tenn. Riding Conditions

Anyone have an update on the type of riding conditions to expect for the southeastern Tennessee area this weekend? I thought about taking a quick (Nomad) weekend trip to let the wife see some of the fall foilage east of the Knoxville / Chattanooga area. The rain should move out tonight and be a nice weekend for a ride. Not sure about north of here (central MS).
Thanks,
Zoom45

You need to get there fast...this rain we have been having in the nc/tn mountains is doing a number on the leaves that are left.

We did the ride but changed location due to time available. My wife had to work Monday and gave me a honey do project to complete so I wound up riding the Natchez Trace to the end at Nashville. We came back on I-40 to Memphis and then took I-55 back to home. The trees are changing color but not complete yet. It was a nice ride except got cold in the mornings and at night. We saw several deer and turkey. One turkey ran across the road in front of me. I barely missed him. No law men were out. People were running an average about 90 most of the way. Dangerous roads on those interstates. I like the less populated roads myself. I'll do the smokies ride in warmer weather.
