POG has been replaced. I believe paperwork said it was done at 12k miles.

Color isn't alot of peoples choice and isn't mine. I just wish the frame wasn't painted to match it. I bought the bike more as a project although there is nothing mechanically wrong with it.

I recently had an 02 TL1000R that I took down to the nuts and bolts and completely redid. Went to bike week again this year and decided I wanted something with bags. I like projects and I have nothing but time on my hands. Just have to decide when i want to tear it all down.

Yep 2 tone black and and a candy tangerine. This is the actual shop doing the painting. It of course wont have the Bar and Shield logo on it, although a buddy is offering to pay for the logo if it says Hardly a Davidson and pay me $100 because he thinks its funny. Not to sure about that.



I spent today coordinating between shop for the tear down and the powder coater for frame which will be black. May not have the bike painted before rally but the frame at least will be done. Once frame is done it's an easy fix for paint, tins aren't that hard to take off myself.

If you do the color I am looking at on my computer screen you will have one sharp looking bike. IMO don't do the 'Hardly a Davidson' but the tank will need something on it. That will be a tough decision to find the right look but as far as the color you nailed it.
