Ya, what he ^^^ said. It will easily be above 110° in late June-early July down here.

Which is why I am spending the night in Show Low AZ (180 miles from home) on my way back from the rally, so I can get up early the next day and get home before it gets really hot.

gibby ill let you know if i can swing that i know i put in for two weeks off so i might be able to do that just going have to wait and see

I stayed at the Bavarian Inn last year in Custer, no complaints at all and reasonable rates. Custer was a great location to base and hit Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Custer State Park... where I saw my first real live Buffalo! Oh, and the food onsite at the Inn was excellent too

I am interested in joining you if I can work out the rest of my travel. Trying to put several things together - a ride to Boulder, then catching a flight up to Portland and back before the rally in Estes Park, then riding back through SD.

We have our 30th anniversary the week before the rally (in Portland) so that holds trump.

Haven't experienced 2 weeks vacation in at least 10 years, so hopefully this is the year! -Cal

That would be great Cal. I take by your travel plans that you are not going to make the ride with the group out to Estes Park. Wow, 30 years of marriage. I am looking forward to seeing you and your wife at the Rally in Estes Park.
