I was riding back from the beach yesterday and a pheasant decided he wanted the same bit of road as me, i did the best i could to help him out but it was,nt going to be, he got hit with my lower crash bar and i took a whack in the leg, then the bike died, i thought, you bastard, i just done all i could to save your life and now you fucked up my bike, seconds later i bent down and saw that his swede must have hit the ignition and turned the key off, result ! i turned around and went back thinking about reviving the fucker, too late he had already left this mortal coil, so i gently placed him in my top bag and took him to the jolly sailor ( a local pub ) where the the landlady cooked him in some sauce that i can still taste, a good day for me, not for him i reckon ! If there is a lesson to be learned it would be, dont be indecisive and fuck around in the middle of the road. p.s i got the tail feathers for my hat so i wont forget him.
