My Nomad is turning 1 this weekend

My Nomad is turning 1 this weekend and I put a random collection of photos together and added the Iron Maiden tune to it. Make sure your speakers are on and the volume is cranked up to max.

Nice pics. I've got some pics at that same sign on Beartooth Pass. There was still some snow when we were up there though! It that a great ride or what? I hope to get the Logan Pass shot at the NW Rally this August! That was quite a road trip you took last summer.... !

Nice pics. Who owns the 1700? It is interesting to see the two different models side by side.

Gents, thanks for the comments. My Nomad hit the road on Sunday to celebrate its one year anniversary. I was gonna get a day permit first but I figured the weather this good, might as well open the season.

Reinstalled the battery quickly, topped up the air (tires lost about 5 psi in three months) and I was on my way to, well probably you're not familiar with this area. Anyways, what a sensation, the torquey motor, the exhaust note, gliding thru the wind and the winding roads. Love my Nomad and there ain't no cure for love (Leonard Cohen).

Hi Schoeney, don't know the owner of the 1700, just parked next to it to take a look. I heard that those who have ridden both bikes still like the 1600 better. Our bags look nicer for sure but I don't know about the 6-speed tranny and the built-in cruise control and other bells and whistles. I might test ride the 1700 this season.

Cheers,

E.
