TC, When you are leaving the site do you hit the 'Log Out' button. It says it cleans the cookies out for you. Mine started bogging down and I did the 'Log Out'. It the asks if you want to go back to where you were. Try It.

sometimes when going from one place to another it will start to make the change and then sort of get stuck. if I use the refresh button sometimes it will go again. I think the trouble is with my computer and not the site.

The first day or two, I noticed the same thing...sort of figured there were still things going on in the background by the Admins....today I have had no delays.

Try deleting temporary internet files.

Slow
I've noticed lagging a number of times since moving to the new forum. It's random. Everything is going fine, then it just takes forever to load a thread. If I wait it out everything is back to normal. I just figured that allot was still going on in the background setting things up.

I load fairly quick and am on 56 dial up. I have a bad time with uploaded pics though, the thumnails people use to show a detailed close up of a suspected problem, not sig line pics.

You still have dial up? It's 2011. The least you could do is DSL. :)
TC--Are all sites slow or just here? If everything is slow, you might try rebooting the computer. What browser are you using? And what version of said browser? Sometimes just upgrading to a newer version makes a world of difference. (And sometimes it just screws everything up.)
