Profile picture?

What's the trick to adding a profile picture? I tried a link from photobucket and from my computer but both give a failed error. I made sure the size was within the limits.

I know how to adjust the pixel size, but not the file size. Any tricks to this?

I adjusted my signature pic to 600x300 pixels, but the fill was still around 400kb? If I understand correctly I have to zip it down to 9kb.... How do I do this?

You would have to reduce the resolution to reduce the size (in bytes) of the picture.

I can't do it either. Whats the difference of signature pic and profile pic? one has 9kb max and the other has 64kb max. I've reduced both to less that 100x70

Can you do this on photobucket? I'm not familiar with how to reduce the resolution.
