If I have to travel to our corporate office, unless I take surface streets I cannot avoid the dreaded "Broadway Curve" on I-10. As you enter the Broadway Curve, US-60 WB merges into it and from the HOV lane, I have to cross 8 lanes of very heavy traffic in about 1/2 mile to hit the ramp to the 143. Getting on the 10 from the 143 in the afternoon is another story in itself. Thus, I avoid going to corporate at all costs.

It seems that every week day during morning rush hour there is a rolled over semi somewhere on the 10 which can add greatly to the excitement.
