Spotlight problems

Has anybody had any problems with mounting the reckless fairing and still having their spotlights? My spotlights have to be turned for the fairing to go on and they cant be turned back with it on. Any ideas???

Here is a pic with the Memphis shades fairing installed with no issues.

I believe others had to make a spacer to move the lights forward some. I had the CWI lights, not a light bar and they worked just fine with the fairing, so I never had to deal with this. I'm sure someone who has will be along with advice.

I had the same issue with my lights on my Premeux fairing. I placed a couple thick plastic washers under the lamp mounting stud. This was enough to gain the clearance I required.

My cobra lights didn't require and modifying to mount the Hoppe fairing.

Well I installed the new fairing and ended up having to push the spot lights forward to allow room for the fairing but the reason for this is because I didn't want to do away with my risers so it forced the fairing forward a little bit. Here are some pics installed:

On mine I had the NO LIGHTBAR option from Gadget's page. So I had drilled the OEM light bar that is for the turn signals and mounted my spots there. When the fairing came along I had to move them. But didn't want to go buy a light bar (hey I'm cheap what can I say

)

So since mine was an HD fairing I had longer brackets in CHROME that I had to cut the bottom off. This piece ended up being cut, drilled and mounted to the chrome light bar and allowed my spots to be pushed forward and out slightly to allow the fairing to go into place. This setup seems to work fine so far for the past year + so no complaints.

This is a picture of the bracket I made as described.
