Pic of my bike

I can't seem to figure out how to make a pic post to my profile, and like every proud Nomad owner I want to show off the bike, some so here's the lastest pic from last fall.

Go to the menu bar below the KawaNOW logo on any page. See where it says "Profile" between "Calendar" and "Logout"? Click there. This takes you to your profile page. Click on "Modify Profile" at the top.

Now you are at the "Modify Profile" page. Make sure you type your password twice or it won't keep the changes.

You can now do a couple of things - add an avatar photo (the small picture displayed under your name on any post) or add signature pictures. Signature pictures display at the bottom of any of your posts.

First, you must upload the pictures you want to display to an online photo sharing site like Photobucket. It's free and easy to do. After you've uploaded the photos, they appear in an album format. Hover your mouse over the desired photo and a box appears below the photo. This box contains the lines of code needed to automatically display your photos in your avatar or signature. Once the box appears, go down to "IMG code" Click on the code and it should say "copied". You then paste this code into the "Avatar URL" or "Signature" boxes on your "modify profile" page.

Please be aware there are size limits on the avatar photo, and we ask that you limit the size of your signature pictures. Some folks have difficulty displaying large pictures in posts. You can resize the pictures on Photobucket, if needed.

Once you have pasted the code you want to use, scroll down to the bottom of the "modify profile" page and click on the modify profile button. This will save your changes.

Thank you, wish I could load more pics. I've got LOTS of add ons. Some aren't even listed for the Nomad, but I have found they fit like a glove!

Cobra makes a shaft cover that wasn't modified for the newer 1600's, but with a little Dremmel tool, Wha La fits like a glove. The swing arm cover also by Cobra doesn't mention the Nomad, it says Classic only, but it fits. There are a couple of breather covers that don't list the nomad but they do fit. Axel plugs, Lay dow license plate, Thanks to user reviews on sites like Cruiser Customizing you can learn what fits the Nomads even though the manufacturer doesn't call the Nomad by name. I know alot of Classic aftermarket parts interchange, but not all.

Welcome from Montreal, Sharp looking bike. It would be interesting to see close ups of some of these add ons that are not listed for the Nomad, or what you did to make them fit.
Maybe you could post them in the garage section if you have time.

Jee whiz just when I thought I was coming closer to ending the "bling buying" you come along
nomad38028,... with great news. Like CNC/Norm said, maybe you can make a list of the items you say fit the Nomad and where to get them.
great to have you aboard

Kris maybe you can help here.

Oh and nomad38028 what web site did you find these things for a classic but fit the Nomad. http://www.cobrausa.com/ ???
Which "Classic" did/do you chose for the model.?

I've never seen the aftermarket chrome for the frt. lowers. I like them.
