Avatar help

Guys, I need help, I have tried and tried to add an avatar to my profile. I have a Flickr account. I copied and pasted the pic in the avatar block on my profile. I set the pixel's to 100x100 but it WILL NOT load when I cleck update account.. Any ideas.

I like to never have figured it out. Did you type everything in for the avatar? If so you may have missed one letter. If so it just will not work. Be sure and check the links at the top of the page, I think the KawaNOW Forum FAQ might be the place to offer help. Once I read it I was able to add the avatar. Hope this helps you some.

Thanks, I've tried everything, for such a well managed web site, it should be easier to post pics, but I'll keeep tring

First you have to click on your prifile, then click on modify profile then copy and paste the IMG code from the picture you want to put on. That is with a Photo Bucket account. I don't know about your Flicker account.

Just do what Tim mentioned, you may have to resize the pic so it fits in the avatar spot. There is a faq at the top of this page that may also help explain how to post pics.

Trip to the rescue. I remember when I first became a member he had to post pictures for me or at least resize them until I finally half way figured out what to do.

For the avatar pic, you don't use the IMG code. IMG is only for sig pics.

Yep, IMG code is used in the signature or message body only. You should use the direct link code for an avatar.
