another snowey day in Ontario

Got the day off and found this site. I have been building my bike up to be a bagger for the last 3 years. Its been kind of a pain because its not supposed to have a fairing. But after many hours of modifying its almost complete. Just want to get a razor trunk make some custom brakets for it then I might be happy.

Welcome from Newmarket, Winter won't last forever, another few weeks and we'll all be back on two wheels.

I don't know about that one ringadingh, I'm only 2 hrs north of you and I have some snow banks out front of my house that are about 5 ft high and were suppose to get another 4 inches tonight with a little freezing rain added in to keep things exciting, next week is suppose to fall down to -10 Celsius for the remainder of next week. I can't wait for spring either but I think we have a bit to go before all this crap is gone

Its sounds about the same amount here, weve had about 2" land the past couple hours. As soon as a couple good rains rinse the salt I'll be out there, by past experience its usually the middle of March for me.

Sorry, Welcome from Harcourt, Ontario . Ringadingh, Last year I was out on the bike the first weekend after Easter and it was -2 in the morning when I left, went to Lindsay, Toronto, Holland Landings and then back up here to Harcourt. It was a great first ride but the start in the morning froze my b***s off and then the weather went cold and wet for the next 3 weeks so we basically went from winter to summer up here.

If you were in Holland Landing you were about five minutes away. Next time you'll have to stop by for a beer.

We had 19 major snow storms here in N.S. this winter, one every Wednesday. I have been home a week and we have had three storms in that time. 10 inches both Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I have used more gas in my snowblower and ATV Plowing snow that I have used in my truck. On the bright side I registered the 1700 today may get it out in late April.

It is usually the 2nd or 3rd week of April before I venture out on the bike.
+15c and all the salt washed off the roads are the criteria for me.

Ditto. Don't mind if it is a bit cooler, but want That salt washed off the roads!
