Vaquero fairing mounted mirrors anyone??

Therer are some out there that need a one inch hole drilled, can't find a good spot to do that. Kurkryn (however its spelled) has the set up that dresses the
bottom trim of the shield and has signals.
Anyone found anything else or have any ideas?

I have the Kuryakyn fairing mounted mirrors, they really look cool but they are too narrow to see past my wide shoulders and fat arms so I took them off and returned to stock. Also, if you have the handlebars all the way forward the levers will hit the mirrors.
I can send you some pics of it mounted to my fairing.
I paid $190, used them 3-4 days, for sale for $95 +shipping.

If you're talking about the Kuryakyn mirrors for the batwing fairing, I'd stay away from them. They're very cheap looking. It's a 3 piece bar. A one piece METAL bar would have made a huge difference. I'll keep mine on the bike but wouldn't buy them again. Kuryakyn makes some nice stuff but this isn't one of them.

I saw some Kuryakyn's in a magazine, "American Bagger," obviously made for the H-D fairings. Do they have a set made for the Voyager/Vaquero? I don't see any online. Can you post or send me the pics too? Thanks!

I'm still considering it, but my other concern was mounting the mirrors to a frame-mounted fairing. How often do you need the mirrors to move with the bars? Anyone have input on that?

The Kury mirrors are made to fit the HD batwing fairing and Kury's own fairing. I did mount them on my Voyager but the bolt pattern is a bit longer so there is a gap where the front section joins.
Many bikes have fairing mounted mirrors, I personally prefer bar mounted as I can rotate around to see better when stopped, but when riding it doesn't make much difference.
I don't know how to post pics here, need your email address to send.

About as often as you "need" the headlight to move with the forks which is to say, just about never. I've ridden Tour Glides, Road Glides, Goldwings, sport bikes, etc all with fairing mounted mirrors and never had a problem seeing behind me.

Well I put them on, rode around, and took them off, I have the Phat II risers and all I could see was my hands basically. While they will fit the Voyager fairings, they are designed for the Harley, the Harley fairing sits higher and the handlebars are lower so they will work. I know some Harley riders that may want them around this area, if not, onto Kijiji they go. I like trying things out and usually get my investment back, so no big loss.
