Welcome Chief. You'll fit right in here. Ever do any time on the good ship USCG Dallas? I think she's mothballed now.

Never did. I tried to stay away from the 378's, instead I ended up with 14 year's out of 20 afloat. CGC AXE, CGC POLAR SEA, CGC POINT LEDGE,CGC SASSAFRAS, CGC POINT JACKSON, CGC PATOKA . I Think the AXE, POINT LEDGE,POINT JACKSON ARE Decommissioned now, and the polar sea was but they just put her back in service. The polar sea was my favorite. I got to see most of the world on her.

Jamiep24, small world. I was stationed in Greenville, Ms from 1994-1997 onboard the US COAST GUARD CUTTER PATOKA . My youngest son was born there. We used to drive through Yazoo City on our way to the big city. ( Jackson. ) I do miss being on the mighty Mississippi.
