Great ride today Ponch! Sorry about the dirt road, but dang that was awesome scenery. I can now scratch that road off of my "Bucket List" and never return.

CJ & others, We went through Tortilla Flats and down the back side of Roosevelt Dam. Including the way more difficult than I thought, 22 miles of unmaintained dirt road.

We were the slowest thing on the road with our big cruisers. We got passed several times. No damage that won't wash off.

I thought we were in the Dakar race. It was great seeing Mark, Irene's was good. Their salsa was different. I'll have to ask Scott what's good to get. I got a green chile chicken chimichanga.

No "race" at all . . . And it would be "The Dark Side Race" or "The Dirt Side Race" if we did.

I think that I am more accustomed to "The Dirt Side", but those folks on the dirt bikes really kicked our butts.

Actually, Dakar is a rally, so that is different than a race. I would have preferred a R1200GSA or a KLR650.
