Prayers for Don and his family. Hoping for a full recovery. As a helmet wearer up here in Canada, I can't imagine not wearing one. By the look of that picture a few posts ago, I sure hope he was wearing one.

This was from David Myers an hour ago,Update on my brother Don Myers. Came through surgery ok. Doctor had positive thoughts. Won't know about paralysis till they start waking him up. But the doctor was positive.

Here is some good news...
UPDATE 2-2-16 pm Don Myers opened his eyes and is following commands, moving hands and feet. Thank you for all your prayers. But keep praying he still has a long way to go. He's still very sedated. Mimi Grozinger

Here is an update from a friend of Dons, Shane Vass:
Update on Don Myers,, Went to visit him this morning,,He still is hooked to every machine I've ever seen..They have him on some STRONG pain medicine and he is sleeping a lot ,,He did wake up a few times and tried to say my name..He asked "What happened ?" I told him and he just had a look on his face like ,,Well Great,,.I held his hand and was standing next to him every time he woke up for a hour and half until they ran me off to do some work on him.....They say he has improved every day and it's going to be a long haul for him to get back on his feet...One LUCKY and TOUGH guy right there.. I hope he doesn't mind me shares his post with the group.

Yes, it's going to be a long road for Don.
Having met Don on several occasions I know he is tough. He has what it takes to overcome this. I pray for his continued improvement.
