Went by my dealer after lunch today. They will have 17 2014's arrive this week. With all of the nice new stuff on the FLHTK's, the price increase will be around $1k according to the sales manager. The lower fairings are no longer removable on the new Limited's so they must have something to do with the cooling.

Like I said before. Competition is good. Victory has raised the bar and HD is trying to answer. Good business. They finally realize that if they stand pat they will lose big chunks of market share. This is good for all of us!

With all that is new in these models I think it will take a year or two to work out the bugs.

Now if Kawasaki will answer the call in the next couple of years I would jump all over a Concours that has a more neutral riding position and comfort for the pillion. Heck I would even consider owning 2 bikes if they tweaked the Voyager w/about 100HP, bigger trunk, and bigger frame.

Game on.....

There are two small radiators located in the lower fairings - one on each side and the right side lower fairing storage compartment is where the coolant overflow jug is located. HD is obviously trying to provide liquid cooling while minimizing the visual impact of a large unsightly radiator. I am guessing with the improved cooling capability these new bikes probably run leaner than ever.

That was a cool video. First time I really was impressed with something new from HD. I am a bit skeptical of this whole placement of the radiator in the lowers but will keep an open mind.

Is it my imagination but was the passenger perch overly tall on the brown/cream bikel? Looks like the rider is short or the passenger is tall or both? Liked the touch on the one handed gas cap and bag lid. The lighting was cool too. HD is listening. That is good!

The 103's are also cammed up a bit more to increase low end torque. I'm looking forward to riding one of the new ones. Maybe this weekend if they have them set up.

If I had the coin, the Harley that has been liquid-cooled since it's inception would be in my garage next to my Nomad right now.

V-Rod. Love that bike.

They didn't bother adding a radiator to the RK.

Will I be riding with a new 2014 Ultra Limited Labor Day weekend? Sure hope so, looks like HD is finally moving in the right direction. Sure love that two tone Mysterious Red Sunglo and Blackened Cayenne Sunglo. Can't wait to check them out in person and do a test ride.

I'll certainly go check them out, but my baby isn't in any danger. 2014 is going to be a hell of a year for bikes in general, what with the new Indian line and now the new H-D. Sort of makes me wonder what, if anything, the other guys have, or if they were caught asleep at the wheel?
