2014 Harleys H2o cooled

Hell has officially frozen over, folks!

Harley has unveiled their 2014 line up. A few models now have water cooling. I only looked at the touring line, because I don't care about anything else Harley makes. There are also a number of styling changes, such as the air cleaner cover, the batwing fairing and they have updated the sound system with a 6.5" color touch screen display. A number of previous models are gone, most notably the Road Glide line, although the RG is slated to be re-introduced next year after some retooling.

From the picture in the above link it shows the radiators are in the lowers.

http://cyrilhuzeblog.com/2011/06/21/...d-heads-patent

I remember when this picture circulated around the forums. Guess it was true. If this is true the two problems with this system IMHO is 1:Too many connections in-line. Good chance of one leaking. 2: Where does the heat from them go? Back onto the driver's legs?

Rumors have been floating about this for years. Seems like it's well overdue.

I wish! It was 92° when I left for work at 06:15 this morning.

I'm not one who will not accept a water cooled Harley, but the Harley forums are abuzz with the die hards griping about this latest innovation. It was inevitable, bound to happen sooner or later. I guess Harley hung on for as long as they could.

In addition to the batwing changes, the infotainment system and the water cooling, there are a number of smaller, more subtle changes to the touring line as Elvis enumerated, above.

Harley has been reduced to a "Wannabe" air cooled motor like Victory's

Nice bikes. Looks like Victory's gonna have to run harder if they hope to catch up!

Let's face it, Victory is on it's way out . BD and MM are the only two "die hard" fans they have.

Should have been in Spirit Lake, IA this past Friday and Saturday. Victory's as far as the eye could see. Lots of Hardley riders there checking them out also.
