From what I understand it was the Americans that had the chocolate, not the British ?
Chocolate would have been a luxury and I dont think the convoys were heavily laden with chocolate destined for the U.K ?

At least they were not fed greasy fish and chips and warm beer (g).

For what its worth my dad was in the British army and threw up everytime he was onboard ship.
Must have been the mutton and chocolate ?

Lucky for the crew there was chocolate, but it's scary to imagine airmen piloting a ship!

And I still respectfully disagree with your respectful disagreement. If all you do in your free time is ride, think about riding, talk about riding, etc, that's it right there. The vast majority of stereotypical "bikers" (what you guys are calling 1%ers) aren't as much into bikes as they are their Club (family). Ask any 1%er which comes first, his bike or his Club. I'll bet every one of them will say their Club/family comes first. That makes them Club members, NOT bikers (not saying one can't be both). They just happen to ride bikes.

BTW, not all 1%ers are long haired, dirty clothed, tattooed, rude, anti social, etc. Not all long haired, dirty clothed, tattooed anti socials are 1%ers.

I have a goatee, torn up/faded clothes (they're clean), tattoos and I'm anti social. I also live and breathe bikes. I have two passions, Jesus and motorcycles (in that order). I'm also an upstanding, law abiding citizen (definitely a 99%er). I'm a biker but call me what you want.
