Hello From Nova Scotia

Been reading here for a while and finally decided to take the leap and join in. I am a 69 year young person who had been away from riding for almost fifteen years. The hiatus away from riding was due to a nasty accident, a guy jumped a red light and t-boned me. Destroyed my Goldwing and put me in the hospital for five days. Took me fifteen years to shed the fear and jump back on a bike, once I did that was it. Bought a 2004 Classic 1500 with only 20,000 miles and in perfect shape and my wife says it's been all down hill since last April.

Welcome from Bathurst, New Brunswick. I'm also a Goldwinger myself, glad to hear you are riding again.

Welcome from Edmonton Alberta. God I love Nova Scotia been there many a time for a visit. Raised here in Alberta but on my visit there to Nova Scotia found Great Granparents Graves going back 5 & 6 generations. How wonderful is that. I love the people there so friendly ever so much more than here in busy Alberta. You should be proud of your little piece of Canada for that and how beautiful it is.

So welcome to the forum and it is great you learn allot at times from this. Hey post some pics of your ride and places you visit in the time to come. I love doing that.

Welcome aboard from another Albertan!

Yes, loved travelling through NS as well. That was 10 years ago and by car but would love to go back again on the bike and definitely do the Cabot Trail!

The Cabot Trail is nice but believe me there are far better places to enjoy, especially on a bike. We have as everyone does superhighways speed limit 110kmh last summer I racked up almost 8000 kilometers and never rode any more than 20km on a superhighway as I call them. Secondary roads is where it is at scenery and just the joy of riding.
