Shop Manual

I get a kick out of the shop manual for changing spark plugs. It says you have to raise the tank for changing the rear spark plugs in a 2007 and you need a special tool to get the plugs. Nothing further form the truth. When I was picking up plugs and oil at the dealership they commented that something must've been lost in the translation from Japanese............

Black is faster. 9000 miles since the middle of May on a 2007 leftover........and counting. Waiting for the new Avon Cobra tires to arrive. Not too many miles left on the rear tire.............

a friend put a Cobra on the back of his 1600 Classic yesterday. It looks like a sportbike tire.

I just hope that the Cobra is good for the Nomad. Rain wear etc.

If not, I'll have to switch the next go around.........

My niece speaks Japanese & teaches english to Japanese kids. She claims that Japan is the land where English means nothing.

In Tokyo she bought products with names that translate like:

The Bread You Care About
The Tasty New Cookies
Tofu of the Loving Trees

and some bottled meat sauce whuch comes in three flavors:
Sweet
Spicy
and
Delicious.

Some concepts just do not transcend language.
