Will be in Dublin on Sunday at a holiday show to check out some travel agents for a bike trip to Europe in May with some friends so will call into the HD dealers and see what help they can give me. Cheers!

They may have some used gauges as well, and youll need a windsheild as well, although they are available quite readily with aftermarket suppliers as well.

I might ring them about the gauges as I have to make up my mind today on the ones for sale in the States. I haven't seen them for sale for $170 so with my free ride home on the container I might not do better! I hadn't thought of the screen being available in the Harley store! If they are not over priced I may as well get it, sure it will be one less thing on the list.

I got my Reckless brand fairing today and it took maybe an hour to take off wind shield and put on fairing. very easy install. very good product for the price. i spoke with Alex and he gave me the discount for being a member. cost me $360 shipped to my door. im very pleased with it and cant wait to get the radio and speakers installed next weekend.

Looks good! An hour install, that does sound nice. I'm guessing you went with the black gel coat paint? $360 shipped sounds really good. Too bad I don't have a black bike.

Headlights look pretty big to me. Not sure I'd cover them that way.

What's a party for the Beemer crowd? Scotch but only if it's well aged and a poetry reading?

Actually beer. When the BMWMOA have their national once a year, usually it's about 10K people. They have a beer tent in the german tradition. I hear it's a hoot. I wouldn't mind being served by any of these nice ladies.
