International Motorcycle Show

The International Motorcycle Show will be in Dallas, Texas the weekend of November 13th. It will be held at the Dallas Convention Center.

My friend and I are riding down from Memphis on Friday to attend. Our plan is to get there late Friday afternoon and go Friday evening. Then we have all day Saturday and Sunday to make a liesurely trip back to Memphis via a stop Saturday night in Mena, AR.

They haven't held the show in Phoenix for the past two years.

I believe Houston is the fourth largest and Phoenix is the fifth largest city in the nation and they can't bring their show? I canceled my Cycle World magazine subscription over it. Cycle World used to sponsor it, now it's Progressive Insurance. Good thing I don't have Progressive or I'd be looking for a new insurer.

Why don't you drive over for the show? There's a lot of nice places to stay along PCH. It'd be great to meet you.

My little town has about 8,000 people and they have never had a show here. Wonder why?

The closest they come to New England is New York city. If you've been to the show a few times, you are lucky. I did make it to the 25th anniversary of Cycle World's show in NYC. Actually was lucky to go to the Super Show in Toronto once as well, about 8 years ago. We usually go to Boston for a show, but its not as big as the Int'l shows.

It's coming the first week of December and I'll have to ride almost 5 miles to get there... What a hassle..!!!!

I'll just wait until AZ Bike Week next April, then I can go test ride a bunch of bikes at Cyclefest.
