SNOW?

There predicting snow and freezing temps here tonight. Maybe a whole inch even. I'll bet I can still ride this weekend.

SNOW?

Same here: snow tonight, but I'm planning a Sunday ride. Supposd to be mid-30's on Sunday. My son and I plan to ride to Cabella's in Dundee, Michigan. Hope it isn't the last ride 'til spring, but know one of these will be.

Already had it out at 26 degrees for several hours. Seven hour ride below freezing. Only had to stop two or three times so I could get off the bike and cool down a bit. Most of the time just wearing my mesh jacket provides sufficient cooling if it is below 32

But even so, the danger from ice stops me due to the snow that typically accompanies the below freezing temps here in Michigan. You Texans have us beat this time of year, though I do enjoy a white Chrtistmas.

SNOW?

Did y'all get any snow Skeet? We are expecting some here this evening. More than likely will be freezing rain with a few flurries this far South. It's in the mid 40's here today but I will take the bike out for a local ride before the ice starts falling late this afternoon.

Whoa! Get going about 75 and with the wind chill you could make dry ice when you exhale!

SNOW?

It was hovering right around freezing here this morning. Highs for the next few days only in the low 60's, and a good chance of rain after the weekend, with snow in the high country. Damn, it's cold!

hahaha

SNOW?

Was about 42 degrees when I got to the plant this morning at 0500. Between then and 830 it dropped in temp and started the "winter mix" before the big flakes started. While it's pretty to look at, my process unit was designed to run in ambient temps above 50F. My biggest gas compressor which is the heart of the process decided to crap out a little after the mix started, resulting in crashing the unit and starting the diagnosis part to try to find out WTF? so Ive been outside most of the morning.
Weather says 33 degrees out at the moment with flurries. The earliest recorded snowfall in Houston history.

I dont say this many times, but I'm really glad I drove my truck today.

SNOW?

Started snowing here in Edmonton about 6:30 this morning and has been going strong all day so far. Figures, I lost my 4X4 truck to the body shop yesterday as someone thought it would look better in their driveway than mine. They didn't manage to drive away but they left it were I park at work with a busted window, body damage attempting to break-in and a damaged ignition. :(" title="" border="0"/>

I've seen it here maybe five or six times in 46 years. Only three of those times was there any accumulation.

Thank goodness for global warming. It might have snowed more often without it.

SNOW?

4:45 here in Southern Alberta and we've had a white out going since 1:00 this afternoon. Temperature isn't that low, -6C, but the wind is howling, everything is covered with snow and ice, and the drifts are already 2 feet high in front of the house where the wind swirls around the corner from the west.

Don't think we'll be riding any time soon. :'(
