I wouldn't get a compressor anywhere near one of these shocks. The bladders are very small. It only takes a few strokes with a hand pump to fully inflate them.

You need a zero-loss pump, which includes a gauge. I bought one from a Harley Davidson dealer, but you can usually find them on eBay for a lot less. Progressive makes a real good one.

Here's an example of what you need to look for:
http://www.amazon.com/PROGRESSIVE-GA.../dp/B000GU1BZC
Instead of spending huge $ on e-bay or amazon and shipping go down to your local Bicycle shop and ask them for a zero loss hand pump. They will (or should) hand you a pump for use that has a gauge on it (mention that too) for about 20.00 or less if there having a sale
You won't find it at Walmart, but any good local bike shop that sells and services bikes as there main business should have one, or can get one in for you fairly cheap. Hope that helps anyone looking for one.

Scott.

whatever pump you get, try to find one with the lowest scale possible. Mine is 0-60PSI, so it's easy to read the gauge and set the pressure precisely. Some may go as high as 300PSI and the scale would make it much harder to read the gauge and be precise.

FYI: Just ordered a progressive pump off of ebay for $10.99 with free shipping. Granted the gauge is the one that goes to 300lbs, but I figured for the price I can always change the gauge later if I decide to....

Sorry, I hope you have better luck with yours than I had with that same pump. I only used it 2 or 3 times and it broke. The hose isn't long enough to reach from the ground to the fitting on the shock, either.

That's why I now have a Progressive pump. ::)

I'm putting a pressure gauge in the line between the shocks this way you can see the pressure in both shocks and re-air when needed.

For everyone that has paid by PayPal, your kit is in the mail (or will be in the morning)!!

I'm sorry, I'll be shipping out my last kits tomorrow. BUT, I have more parts on the way, and I'll get them back up for sale just as soon as possible!
I only made a handful of kits to begin with and they sold faster than I expected. 50 more will be coming soon!

I'll keep you updated

Thanks again!

I received my air kit today and have already installed it. Couldn't be any more simple. Thanks for doing this Jay, and thanks for the quick shipping!

I pumped mine up to 30 PSI and left the seat off (easier to get to the fittings) and will recheck in the morning to make sure it holds pressure.

This one has a 70lb gage and the hose is 33" long. Just hope it does not break like CJ's did.

I was mistaken. I had my pump out today and it has a Dennis Kirk inventory tag on it. I did not buy it from a Harley dealer.
