Funny you should mention that.
At the North East US/North East Canada rally in New Hampshire this year I saw a guy and his wife sitting in front of their room.
He was watching the bikes coming and going so I walked over and said, "makes you wish you rode a motorcycle doesn't it"
He said, "Oh I have a motorcycle" Then he asked me what bars we have planned to hit on our rally what?
I told him we don't drink and ride and asked what kind of bike he had, as if I didn't know
Harley he said

Never been to any of those...not even the one 20 miles from my house....never heard of it either.....must be getting old in my old age.

...In my "youth" one bar stands out in my memory...
Where befor the evening crowd showed up they tossed buckets of saw-dust on the floor..and half way thru the saturday nite -festivities- the scooped out the blood soaked muck, with a scoop shovel

And the women were in more fights than the guy's...

....THE BAR AT LANTRY SOUTH DAKOTA !
