Tire Question

I know that some members here also ride Can Am Spyders, my wife has a 2010 RTS. Her rear tire needs replacing and I am wondering what you Spyder riders put on. I have checked Spyder blogs and can't seem to find much info.

Thanks for any help.

Many choices in the 215/60/15 car tires. We have a Michelin Primacy on the rear of our Spyder. 5,300 miles so far. Many threads at:http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...ear+tire+sizes

They come with cat tires since they have 3 wheels. 2 front 1 rear.

My buddies RTS stock rear tire only lasted 15K miles, he replaced it with another stock one,and 15K miles later it was shot. He now runs a car tire from Discount Tire. It has over 20K miles on it, and still has half the tread left. Stock tires installed was 400.00 each. The Car tire ,we installed for 96.00, tire and free labor. Discount Tire mounted it on the rim, and we balanced it, and installed it on the bike.
