ClearView Shield Vent Rattle?

Any one have any hacks for the clearview shield Vent that rattles? It drives me crazy, and I'm already half way there anyway.

To stop mine rattling, I simply leave it open one notch.

Mine doesn't rattle, but if you can identify the part that is moving you might give Clearview a call and ask them what their solution to the problem might be.

Identifying the part that is making the noise would be a start to figuring out how to correct it.

I finally fixed my Clearview windshield with the air vent.

I put it back in the cardboard box it came in and put it up on the shelf.

I had that air vent power drive a bug so far up my nose - well it wasn't pretty.

Also, for my setup I got a lot of head buffeting with the Clearview. Maybe I'll get it back out and try it again. Maybe not. Stock is for me.

Which model?

I've been looking for a new windshield for my 2011 vn1700 Nomad. Which model did you get? they don't have a listing for the 2011 1700. And now since you pointed out an issue with the vent, which I was going to get, I'll save my money on that option.

--Nevermind.. I'm going to order the Cee Bailey windshield.

If you did not get the recurve on your clearview's we are talking Apple and Oranges. I took my vent apart and re installed it in a different part of the groove that is CNC'ed in the top part of the opening for the vent. it solved the problem, so far. I can Not speak for the CEE Bailey, I know nothing about it. Hopefully some one will chime in on one for you.
