Met Mike

Met Mike (Spil99) this morning for a short visit and ride on his way back home from the Antlers Rally. I was actually expecting him tonight and he was going to spend the night at my place before he headed home in the morning. But he needed to get home by the morning so he had started off from the rally sooner than what he had planned. It was good to see him and share a short ride with him.

I didn't even know he was leaving. I said bye to Jesse and John. Then turned around as I was walking off and said "have a safe ride we'll see you guys at the next rally" Mike said " see you later" (I thought to my self while I was walking away)what is he talking about. When I got back to the group Glen told me mike was heading home. Boy did I feel stupid.
So if you read this Mike sorry I didn't shake you hand. It was great getting to know you and riding with you even if you did try to embarrass me in front of my wife.

Amin i was expecting to see you at exit 125 when gibby and i got there gald to here you meet mike we missed him on the way back

Yeah I wasted about an hour of his time BS ing and not to mention he had to help jump start my bike using his bike because I forgot to shut the key off while we were BS ing. Its always nice to see friends even if its for a short while

I thought about meeting you guys again like I did last year and riding with you into Missouri but I was still hoping against hope to make it down to the rally after the wife's interview ....so I was trying to hold on to the vacation time till them. I had hoped to catch and Gibby on your way back through here too but it did not happen. We might just have to meet at Poppy's in Savanna before the snow flys!!

You can go to a Rally and say, "Mike, you left your ignitions switch on", at least five guys are going to get up and head (or stagger) to their bike.
