2005 Nomad value
I'm toying with the idea of selling my bike. What do you think I could get for it if I posted it on craigslist and similar local classifieds?
It's a 2005 with 24K miles.

Why are you considering selling it?
The best places I know to price check are NADA and Cycletrader online. |

I have no idea what you have in the bike, but as shown if it were mine and the miles are about that i wouldn't take less than $9,000.00 ROCK SOLID FIRM. And probably would want more, depending on what I can't see.
No test rides with out the cash in your hand and I do mean CASH. I will hold cash 48 hours and let a guy go ride the bike, but when it comes back it has to be the way it was. Other wise he owns it. No show in after 48 and he owns it.. The hard part today is the economy dumped and no one can get the loans, or has cash on hand. I won't even buy a bike with a lone. I can pay cash or i can't buy it. I made that a rule for me in 79' after i paid off a lone on a bike I crashed that killed it and almost killed me.

I paid $6500 for an '04 Nomad with 12k miles in June. It had a lightbar, Roadhouse doolies, new rear tire, sissy bar, grasshopper backrest, and lowers. Also included was a cover and brand new still in the box hydraulic lift. It's a pretty soft market right now.....good luck.

My neighbor had his 07 for sale for 6 months. Just took $8100 for it on Monday. Was red&titaniun, had windshield bag, cobra light bar, cobra luggage rack, cobra FI controller, V&H duals, Kury hi-way pegs and grips, Kaw driver back rest and one of those run stop turn rear brake lite kits. Except for the leather you have looks like they would have been similarly equiped. His bike had 5066 miles on it. It was spotless, cause he didn't ride it. Yours looks good in the pics. My guess is $6000 or a little over? I hate it for all of us but the used bike market is terrible.
But why trade up to a 08? It's the same motorcycle that you have but with out the accessories? You have been through the tough part, now you can ride your bike 3 more years and 30,000 more miles and it'll probably sell for 4000-5000 then.

Not sure what you should ask Utah, my mine is also a b/s 05. I like what you did with tank and bag chaps. I'll keep it in mind. Good luck with the sell.

Utah: let me have first shot at your Mustang seats and drivers backrest. I have the same year and color bike. :-)

Just bought a stock 2005 Nomad for $7000.00.It had only 1600 miles on it.A retired 74 year old man owned it and wanted out. It is a very soft market now.
