Chuck "txcwdancer" Burt down....

This is stunning news. As many miles as Chuck put on his Nomad for this to happen is difficult to believe. We all need to learn a lesson from this, back off the throttle on blind hills and curves. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones where you think "man I hope there is nothing in the way over the top". Please slow down and be careful. This is hard to take. My prayers are with Chuck and his family. I pray that he is enjoying an eternal ride on the best roads in Heaven.

I also just watched the video. Very well done. Kudos to who made it. The last picture in the video is a great one. It shows a very happy man with a great smile...

Prayers to Chuck's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck last year at Grand Lake. You never saw him without his Stetson.

Pegs Down my friend. Enjoy the highway to heaven.

That was an awesome video! I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Chuck but judging by the tributes by his friends - I know I would have liked him too.

My heart breaks for his family and friends. We are not promised tomorrow - so live every day as if it were your last. Chuck was indeed living his life to the fullest. I bet there are great roads in heaven.....

RIP Chuck

Saddened heart today. Met him at the Eastern rally very nice guy-always smilling. I remember the last time I saw him...I was pulling out of a gas station in Kentucky on way home from the rally when he came by and yelled 'hey there' as he went by with that big grin on his face.

Trip sorrow for your loss of a good friend. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I didn't know the man, except for his post here and I too enjoyed reading them. When I told my wife, she too was moved by the loss. I'm gonna send Trip an email and see If we can get some money via maybe a paypal account to send some flowers or something. After all the guy is 'family'.

Hi all,

I am the OP of the message, I posted it on VROC. I did not know about this board nor was a member since I am a '04 1600 Classic rider myself, but do love the Nads. Chuck was my mothers older brother. He has a younger brother also.

Thank you for the tribute, it was very nicely done. He was a great guy as you all know. It is apparent from all your posts he is part of your family too.

No plans have been firmed up as of yet, but I or someone should post those when they are made. His daughter and son as well as Myself and parents will be headed down that way this week.

Thanks again for all your prayers and wonderful words. He was indeed a great man.

I'm sooooo sorry for your .... ALL of OUR Loss!! I only got to meet him once, but with this forum, all his blogs, and tales, he quickly became a dear friend!! I fell very fortunate to have known him even for such a short time.... I'm sure growing up with him being your Uncle only compounds that feeling! His passing leaves a void in our KawaNow family that will never be filled! Please pass along my condolences to your family....and PLEASE let us know of arrangements when you can.

Thanks and God Bless!!
Matt
