I'm certainly the last person anyone would consider a prude, but, I quit reading halfway through. The author's wording and overuse of profanity made me think *he* was trying to put *himself* in the soldiers shoes and was reliving the mans actions. A simple straight forward report would have added a great deal of respect to the story.

A little crude yes, but read about the gentleman highlighted part way through and go to the main page and read some of the other stories.

I agree with sas that he is a great man and the story needs to be told but that the author of this story needs to find out that all that profanity takes away from the story and does nothing to add to it.
