No one has done a good report on the shows in their area this year... be sure to take pics and let us know what you see, like, dislike... please!

Thanks

Sorry fellahs, my boss's only compromise was work only a half a shift!
----How 'bout I only "freak up"a half day instead of a whole one? ----

I took the whole one.

Charlotte IMS was a really good show. I recommend going next year or when it is in Daytona for Bike Week this year. I am amazed at how they balance the American bikes with the metrics at this one. If you get a chance, stop by the Ural bike area. Really amazing sidecars built specifically for off-roading. Still impressed with Shorhai batteries. Lots of interesting vendors.

My thoughts r slightly different...even though i enjoyed it i wouldn't advis ridn more than an hour or so to get there. On the other hand a longer ride is always bettern a short 1. We spent 8 hrs to and from, 2 far 4 what i got outta it.. u'r spot on about the ural, a cool bike and good mixture of bikes 2 c.

Well, I'm not much of a photographer but here is what I have.

First one is the bike my wife wants, a Yamaha Stryker. Nice bike, 1300 CC, real low and raked out front end. Yamaha's answer to the Fury I guess.

Next is a 40' tall billboard outside of the hotel we stayed overnight in.

3rd and 4th are of a USMC trike I liked in the custom builder contest.

One other thing I saw but didn't get a picture of was a before/after of an old HD pan head. They had 2 bikes, one in original condition and another next to it all restored. Very nicely done.
