Heated GLoves?

Cold weathers coming.
Does anybody use heated gloves?
Which ones?
Pros and cons?

Mike

If the photos don't like, you ought to have enough heat around you year-round.

Seriously, never used them...too damn cold in the winter to ride.

I don't use heated gloves, but heated handlegrips instead. They take the chill out of the metal for me pretty good, but when Im riding below 30f it still cools the fingers down.

I use the Gerbing's heated gloves (got them from Al Strauss). They work almost too good.
The only con is, when you get off the bike, you got to un-plug them.
Neutral
Instead of a "heat-troller", I use an off/on switch. When the hands start getting cold, reach down and switch them on. When the hands start getting hot, reach down and switch them off.
Pros
They work great, and hold the heat for a pretty good while. They are not too big and bulky, you can still use your finger tips to work the controls.

My wife and I use the Gerbing heated gloves with the controller.
We love them. They definitely keep your both sides of your hands and fingers warm.

I find that when the weather gets cold enough to wear gloves, its time to call it quits to the riding season. What with rain, black ice and snow. And right after that, out comes the sand and salt.

Gerbing. Also have their jacket liner.

Wiring up can seem like a hassle, but they are excellent--particularly with the thermostat.

Good sig pics.

I think the part of being wired to the bike is what I don't care for. I don't know why but I just don't like it, my brother has all the heated gear and loves it though, perhaps if I gave it a chance Id get over it.

Still far too hot here in Alabama to even think of gloves. I only use a good leather glove.

I have used the Gerbing battery (rechargeable) powered gloves, to avoid the wiring/tethering issue, for several years. They don't get quite was warm as the wired version but with thin glove liners my hands stay warm down to about 30 degrees at prolonged highway speeds. The colder the ambient temperature, the quicker the batteries will drain. My solution to that problem was to buy several extra sets of batteries.

I have the Gerbings gloves, jacket liner and insoles. Couldn't ride in the winter without them. I've ridden down to 5 degrees without a problem.
