Motorcycle Cruiser

MC Cruiser went under. I wondered why I didn't get a new issue and I checked their subscription site. WTF? They stopped publishing as of January.

I already subscribe to Motorcyclist and Cycle World. I like Mark Zimmerman a lot. Oh well. I should have known something was up when Andrew Cherney left. That sucks for the guy that replaced him. 2 issues and let go...

I got an email reply from one of the writers this morning. He said they closed it just before Christmas. I think they were bought by Bonnier a little over a year ago. He said they weren't profitable enough. Oh well. I really enjoyed his writing. It's the only reason I subscribed.

I've actually met mark. When I lived in NY, I emailed him and we went out to lunch. I road up to danbury to meet him. He's a really nice guy. I try to keep in touch with him, but it's been a few years, but he still remembered me. Jamie writes for cycle world sometimes. Or she had.
